2017 NFL Salary Cap Reportedly Set at $167 Million

The NFL salary cap is going up once again, as it will reportedly be set at $167 million in 2017.

NFL.com's Judy Battista was the first to report the news. Tom Pelissero of USA Today confirmed and added that this marks the fourth consecutive year the cap has increased by at least $10 million.

According to Aaron Leming of BearReport.com, original projections forecast the cap would hit over $168 million.

Per NFL.com, the NFL's salary cap has increased by $47 million since 2012.
