2016 Outlook: Greg Monroe

Related Topics: Rebound (basketball)

Greg Monroe's first season in Milwaukee didn't quite go as planned, which isn't to say he was bad. Monroe averaged 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for the Bucks, mostly in line with what we've come to expect from him. However, Monroe was expected to take a big step forward as the focal point for Milwaukee's offense, but he seemed lost for long stretches, especially in the second half, when the Bucks finally reoriented their offense around Giannis Antetokounmpo's skills. Monroe averaged just 12.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game after the All-Star break, and the concern is that will be his role moving forward.
