Coming off an injury-plagued season, Carmelo Anthony managed to stay mostly healthy last season, appearing in 72 games and averaging 35.1 minutes per game. Anthony averaged 21.8 points per game, his lowest total since his second season in the league, however he did bounce back in other ways, posting a strong 7.7 rebounds per game and adding a career-high 4.2 assists as well. That trend might reverse itself this season, as the Knicks added Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose in the offseason, lessening the need for playmaking from Anthony. Whether that also leads to an increase in scoring and efficiency remains to be seen, and there is enough risk here to downgrade Anthony to the third or fourth round on Draft Day.
