Fabienne Humm and Ramona Bachmann each scored three times in the second half as SWITZERLAND routed ECUADOR, 10-1, in Vancouver. Eseosa Aigbogun and Martina Moser added goals for Switzerland. Angie Ponce scored Ecuador’s first World Cup goal.
Kyah Simon scored twice to lead AUSTRALIA to a 2-0 victory over NIGERIA in Winnipeg. Simon put Australia ahead, 1-0, in the 29th minute. She then put away a cross from Samantha Kerr in the 68th minute.

Fabienne Humm scored three goals within six minutes — in the 47th, the 49th and the 52nd — as Switzerland coasted to its first Cup victory.
