University of Toledo sophomore cornerback Quinyon Mitchell was named to the Walter Camp second-team All-American team on Thursday night in a ceremony at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
Walter Camp is one of the five All-America teams designated by the NCAA for determining "consensus" All-Americans.
"Quinyon has worked hard to become the player he is today, so it's gratifying to see him gain the national recognition that he deserves," Toledo coach Jason Candle said in a release.
"He's been a key component in what we feel is the best defense in the Mid-American Conference.
