GREENVILLE, SC – Toledo was bested by Sacred Heart, 3-0, before falling co-host Furman in a pitchers' duel, 1-0, on the first day of the Buffalo Wild Wings Classic in Greenville, SC. With the defeats, the Rockets falls to 2-10 on the season.
"Our pitchers did very well today," said Head Coach Kristen Butler. "Heather and Kailey performed very well and gave us great outings. We need to focus on executing when we have runners on base."

Senior 2B Chandler Rice (1-for-3), junior Samantha Showalter (1-for-1), and sophomore SS Megan Choate (1-for-3) each picked up a hit for the Rockets.
