OXFORD, Ohio – Senior came through for the Toledo women's tennis team to clinch match point in a 4-3 victory at Miami on Friday afternoon. The win improved the Rockets (12-4) to 5-0 in Mid-American Conference play and extended their regular-season conference winning streak to 16 matches.
The Rockets also defeated the RedHawks by a 5-2 margin one week ago at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts.
"I'm proud of the way we competed today," head coach said. "Miami is a great team and to beat them back-to-back weeks is extremely tough, both outside and then indoors today.
