Columbus, OH – Toledo softball competed in Ohio State's Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic this past weekend. The Rockets tied Wright State (3-3) but dropped games to Dayton (3-2) and the Buckeyes (2-1).
"I think we played well defensively and our pitching was solid," said assistant coach Rod Radcliffe. "We need to focus a little more on our hitting but overall we were very competitive in all three games and everyone got a lot of playing time."
Junior C Kaitlyn Bergman had a productive weekend, registering a homerun and three RBI. Sophomore IF Katie Cozy also recorded a homer on the weekend, to go along with a double and two RBI.
