Former St. John’s Jesuit boys basketball standout Jaylen Murphy is staying in town.
The 6-foot-3 guard will be a preferred walk-on at Toledo.
Murphy averaged 17.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists last season, shooting 63 percent on 2-point field goals and 37 percent from beyond the arc. He scored a season-high 32 points against Central Catholic.
Murphy was a first-team All-Blade selection.
