CANCUN, Mexico – The University of Toledo women's basketball team fell to Seton Hall in overtime on Friday at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, losing by a score of 68-63.
After trailing for much of the game, the Rockets (3-2) took a lead with less than three minutes to go in regulation, but two late free throws from Seton Hall (3-2) tied the score at 57-57 and sent the game into overtime. In the extra period, the Pirates scored the first points to take a lead and would not trail for the rest of the game.
"I was proud of our players tonight," head coach Tricia Cullop said.
