Clearwater, Fla. - The Toledo softball team fell against Colgate, 1-0, and Saint Jospeh's, 8-5, today on day two of the USF Showcase in Clearwater, Fla. The Rockets had solid chances to win in both games but late-game rallies from the Raiders and Hawks stunned UT.
Game 1
- Toledo and Colgate both had issues getting going early in the game. UT opened with two fly outs and a caught stealing, while the Raiders went down in order to close the first. Colgate started to build into a scoring chance in the second when two batters got on but some smart defense ended the chance.
