TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo swimming and diving team dropped a hard-fought battle to three-time reigning Mid-American Conference Champion Akron, 175-87, on Saturday afternoon in the UT Student Rec Center.
"I thought our team did a great job today against the defending MAC champions," said head coach Jonas Persson. "Our team swam hard even though we are still battling some injuries. We're going to return to the pool and get ready for our match-up against Miami next weekend."
Junior Maggie Hack swam to a second-place, season-best time of 10:41.58 in the 1,000 free.
