ROCHESTER, Mich. – A two-run single up the middle with two down in the sixth by sophomore Katie Cozy was enough to boost Toledo softball (22-30, 9-9 MAC) over Oakland (17-19), 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at Oakland Softball Field in Rochester, Mich.
Toledo's five hits were tallied by Cozy, senior second baseman Chandler Rice, freshman third baseman Samantha Golden, senior catcher Ashley Maynard, and junior Courtney Heinritz.
