TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team held their annual end-of-the-year banquet in early December. Ashton Cassel, Anita Mancini, Sheridan Bufe, Stephanie Currie, Brooke Stonehouse, and Olivia Young each earned a team award at the event. The banquet was held in the Grogan Room at Savage Arena.
Sophomore Ashton Cassel was named the team's Most Valuable Player for her efforts in the Midnight Blue and Gold. Cassel started all 19 matches for the Rockets, scoring the second game-winner of her career in the Rockets' 6-1 win over Eastern Michigan in early October.
