COLUMBUS, Ohio – Toledo senior Pawit Sornlaksup and freshman Poonthong Komolpisut each collected valuable singles and doubles ATP world rankings points at the national M25 ITF Future Tour in Columbus, Ohio. Sornlaksup reached the quarterfinals of the main singles draw before falling to Ohio State's two-time All-American Andrew Cash, while Komolpisut fell in the qualifying bracket.
Sornlaksup, ranked No. 68 in the country, automatically qualified for the main draw. He won a quick two-set match over Henry Lieberman in his first match on Wednesday and went on to defeat Quinn Vandecasteele on Thursday in the second round.
