Meyers providing power for Toledo baseball

The beginnings of a power surge took place last spring when Chris Meyers logged countless hours in a batting cage.

The University of Toledo’s baseball season had been a victim of the coronavirus pandemic, but the industrious first baseman wasn’t ready to put his bat away. So he stayed in Toledo and kept swinging.

The rest of college baseball is starting to see the results.

“I worked on my swing as much as I could,” Meyers said. “That period was huge and is playing a big part in this season.”
