TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior Madison Giglio was recognized on Wednesday for her performance at Marshall last week with her first Mid-American Conference Co-Diver of the Week honor of the season. Giglio shared the weekly recognition with Eastern Michigan's Rebekah Knapp.
Giglio won the three-meter for the fifth time this season at Marshall last week with a winning score of 296.85. Her 1M score of 271.73 earned her a runner-up finish to the Thundering Herd and qualified for the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships in March in Lexington, Ky.
This is Giglio's third MAC Diver of the Week honor in her career and first of the season.
