How have other former Toledo basketball coaches fared after leveling up?

Tricia Cullop is set to become the latest University of Toledo basketball coach to depart for a power-conference program when she is unveiled Friday as the new women’s basketball coach at the University of Miami.

Cullop has been the longest-serving coach in the Rockets’ program history, leading the team for 16 seasons and compiling a record of 353-169 (.676) with two trips to the NCAA tournament, including a 2023 first-round upset of Iowa State.

That Iowa State team was helmed by Bill Fennelly, one of two other coaches to have left UT men’s or women’s basketball for the bright lights of the power conferences.
