It was announced today that Tommy Tuberville will resign from his head coaching position at the University of Cincinnati.
After his disingenuous exit from Texas Tech in 2012, Tuberville left to coach the Cincinnati Bearcats. After a 4-8 2016 season Tuberville decided to step down. The Bearcats lost their last five games and missed a bowl game for the first time since 2010.
In four seasons Tuberville finished with a record of 9-4, 9-4, 7-6, and 4-8. Tuberville went 0-3 in bowl games. Cincinnati was never ranked during Tommy’s tenure, after being ranked in two of his three seasons at Texas Tech.
