On Tuesday, the Big 12 Conference released the schedule for the 2017 season.
Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury will open Big 12 play during his fifth season as coach with a Sept. 30 matchup against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
This is the third-straight season tech begins conference play at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Tex.
In October, Tech will only host one conference game when the Iowa State Cyclones travel to West Texas for an Oct. 21 meeting with the Red Raiders.
On Oct. 7, Tech will travel to Lawrence, Kansas, to take on the Jayhawks followed by a trip to Morgantown, West Virginia, to face the West Virginia Mountaineers on Oct.
