Texas Tech addressed some needs this offseason with bringing back defensive player Dakota Allen and talented freshman to boost the offensive line.
But the Red Raiders still have some positions up for grabs. Here is a look at some key positions for the Red Raiders to look at for 2017.
1. Receiver
Texas Tech fans did not expect to lose 2016 leading receiver Jonathan Giles before he decided to transfer. That also means Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury probably did not expect that either. The Red Raiders now have to look to the next man up as recruiting did not have a key player to fill in.
