Zach Smith will return to the Texas Tech men’s basketball for his senior season, per an online report from CBS Sports college insider Jon Rothstein who cited sources Monday.
“Zach Smith will return to Texas Tech next season, per a source. Entered 2017 NBA Draft without an agent.” Rothstein Tweeted on Monday.
Red Raiders head coach Chris Beard did not shy away from saying his 6-foot-8 forward is an NBA talent last season.
“I openly say Zach is a guy who should be thinking about playing in the NBA,” Beard said back in a December article with the Avalanche-Journal.
