The reason why: Hunt was an impact player for the Red Raiders all four years (1999-2002) and wound up with the still-standing Tech career record for sacks (34) as well as 461/2 tackles for loss. Not just a one-trick pass-rush pony, the 6-foot-3, 270-pounder from Denison recorded single-season tackle totals of 71, 85 and 103 — big numbers for a defensive lineman.
