Millinghaus is second JUCO guard to commit to Texas Tech

Northwest Florida State College guard Shadell Millinghaus committed and signed his National Letter of Intent on Saturday to play basketball for Texas Tech.

"I'm looking forward to building a great bond with my new teammates and coaches," Millinghaus said by phone Sunday. "I know we're going to work hard toward winning the Big 12 title."

Millinghaus, who averaged 16.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals per in 30 contests as a sophomore for the Raiders last season, is slated to have two years of eligibility.

Northwest Florida State College runs something similar to the motion offense, which makes Millinghaus feel like he'll be able to slot in and be successful on the court early on.
