On Tuesday, Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes garnered his third honor of the week after being named The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week.
Mahomes was named the Big 12 Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and was named one of eight "Stars of the Week" by The Manning Award.
Mahomes' performance against the Oklahoma Sooners launched his honorable week.
Against the Sooners, Mahomes posted a total of 819 offensive yards, eclipsing the NCAA record. He also tied the FBS Record for passing yards throwing for 734 yards.
According to Tech Athletics, Mahomes is now second in all-time rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in Tech history.
