At his weekly press conference today, Texas Tech head football coach Kliff Kingsbury announced that starting offensive lineman Justin Murphy has decided to end his football career due to injuries.

Murphy is a redshirt sophomore who has seen considerable playing time in his career as a Red Raider, earning a starting role this season after his 2015 season was cut short due to a knee injury.
