Huffman spent the last seven years working as a director of operations and an assistant athletic director for former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach at Washington State.
During the 2010 and 2011 seasons, Huffman was the director of operations at East Carolina under then head coach Ruffin McNeill.
Huffman played for the Red Raiders from 2003-06 and was named the most valuable defensive player in a win over Minnesota in the 2006 Insight Bowl, the last game of his collegiate career.
Following his playing career, Huffman spent a brief stint at Texas Tech from 2008-10 as a director of player of personnel and assistant recruiting coordinator.
