The Red Raiders have been a pleasant surprised, with all things considered, this season. But this weekend, Texas Tech will need to rely on an unlikely source of offense to survive.
Well, it's not that unlikely. But Kliff Kingsbury's crew is certainly more adept to getting its points through the air than on the ground.
But the Tech defense is ailing, and it's struggling with injuries on offense, too. DeAndre Washington is certainly a capable running back, but for all parties involved, it's going to be best to improve his workload on Saturday according to the Dallas Morning News.
