Chris Beard fills hole on Texas Tech staff with Glynn Cyprien of Memphis Grizzlies organization

Chris Beard's coaching staff for the 2018-19 season is complete.

Glynn Cyprien has been hired as an assistant coach, Texas Tech announced Monday, filling the vacancy that was opened when Al Pinkins left for the associate head coaching job at Florida in May.

Cyprien is the second change made to Beard's staff this offseason. In April, assistant coach Chris Ogden was named the head coach at UT-Arlington, paving the way for Brian Burg to be elevated from his role as the Tech's chief of staff to assistant.
