WACO, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis team posted a pair of doubles victories and all three of its doubles team have advanced to Sunday's consolation quarterfinals of the ITA Texas Regional Tournament at the Hurd Tennis Center.
Yadira Rubio and Julia Navajo will play against UT Arlington's Angeles De los Rios and Agustina Serio after winning an 8-6 decision on Saturday against Charline Anselmo and Mary Wright of SMU.
Pippa Carr and Joy Chia also posted an 8-5 triumph over Abilene Christian's Ansley Boarman and Elizabeth Ryan. They will play against Kaja Ljubic and Denise Maxi of Stephen F.
