SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's soccer program opened preseason camp on Wednesday in preparation of the 2016 season.
"I thought several people did a good job today with the fitness test," said head coach Kat Conner. "Senior captain Maddie Nichols was a leader out there. Others that did a great job were Kassi Hormuth, Alyssa Phelan and Elizabeth Havenhill along with freshmen Genesis Turman, Jordan Kondikoff and Heahter Martin."
"Overall I am impressed with their mentality. They are at a good fitness base and we can start from there to get into game fitness.
