McALLEN, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team won the team title at the UTRGV Invitational. As a team, the Bobcats registered 884 strokes through three rounds of play at the par-71 course at McAllen Country Club in McAllen, Texas. TXST outpaced Texas A&M Corpus Christi (905) and Sam Houston State (915) to win the tournament.
"I am so proud to coach a group of young ladies who have committed to the culture of discipline over default," head coach Lisa Strom said. "We may not have had our best day today, but we are going to enjoy bringing home this trophy.
