SAN MARCOS, Texas – This week the Texas State track and field program will be sending 18 athletes to compete at the NCAA West Preliminary Round meet that will be held May 25-27 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. Bobcats will be competing in 18 individual events and both of the men's relay races.
The top 48 athletes in each individual event and the top 24 relay teams qualified for the West regional. Individuals and relays that finish in the top 12 will advance to the championship weekend in Eugene, Oregon taking place June 7-10.
