SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State track and field team begins its 2018 indoor schedule on Friday in in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the Purple Tiger Invitational in the Carl Maddox Field House hosted by LSU.
Notable competition that the Bobcats will face on Friday are LSU, Texas Southern, Tulane and and fellow Sun Belt Conference member Louisiana.
The meet begins at 10:30 a.m. with the men's hammer throw competition. The first meet on the track will be the men's 60-meter hurdles preliminary heats at 1 p.m.
