SAN MARCOS – The Texas State softball team dropped a 5-2 decision in an exhibition game against the USA Women's National Team Sunday in the Bobcats' final game at the 2020 NCFA Division Leadoff Classic. The Bobcats faced a current member of the Bobcat coaching staff, Cat Osterman, who started the game for the USA Women's National Team. Osterman came out of retirement and earned a spot on the 2020 USA Olympic Team.
Haleigh MacKay drove in both runs for the Bobcats when she hit a towering home run to center field in the top of the fourth inning.
