NEW ORLEANS – With the structure of the Sun Belt Conference changing to two five-team divisions, the Sun Belt Conference released its 2018 and 2019 conference football schedules on Wednesday. The winners of each division will meet in the inaugural Sun Belt Football Championship Game in December 2018.
The league scheduled Texas State to play home games against Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern and Louisiana in 2018. The Bobcats will play road games against Georgia State, ULM, South Alabama and Troy that season.
In 2019, the Bobcats will host Georgia State, ULM, South Alabama and Troy, while playing at Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern and Louisiana.
