CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) named Texas State University women's golfers Millie Saroha and Sasikarn Somboonsup to the 2016-17 Division I All-American Scholars, as announced on Tuesday, July 5.
The award is the fourth for Saroha, a senior, while Somboonsup, a freshman, earned the plaudit for the first time.
"I am exceptionally proud of Millie and Sasikarn for earning this great honor," said Texas State women's golf head coach Lisa Strom. "To be named an All-American Scholar by the WGCA, while competing year round shows that these two individuals have the drive to excel both academically and athletically.
