SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State head football coach Everett Withers announced that sophomore Bryan London II, along with seniors Gabe Loyd, Gabe Schrade and Easy Anyama have been elected as team captains for the 2017 season.
"Those four players are guys that I know our team looks up to," Withers said. "They're leaders on our team and guys who do a great job of trying to compete both on and off the field."
London II ranked third among national leaders with 141 total tackles and 83 solo stops as a redshirt freshman last season.
