POINT CLEAR, Ala. – Texas State women's soccer standout Kassi Hormuth was named to the Sun Belt Conference Leadership Team at the league's Honors Reception on Sunday during the SBC annual spring meetings.
The Sun Belt Conference Leadership Team includes one student-athlete from each institution who exemplify the highest qualities of being a true student-athlete.
Hormuth was the Texas State soccer team's Offensive MVP in 2016 after tying for the team lead with three goals, three assists and nine points while starting all 18 games last season. She also earned Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week after recording an assist on a game-winning goal in overtime against Little Rock and logging a game-tying goal against Georgia State in Texas State's first two conference matches.
