SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Paul Hornung Award Committee announced Monday morning that Texas State senior wide receiver/return specialist Jeremiah Haydel is on this week's Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll.
Haydel touched the ball 11 times for 193 yards and a touchdown in Texas State's 47-45 victory over Arkansas State. Haydel had six catches in the game for 94 yards and a touchdown. He also returned two punts for 28 yards and three kickoffs for 78 yards.
Haydel had a 47-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter and had two critical plays on Texas State's game-winning drive in the fourth quarter.
