MADISON, Miss. – Texas State's run in the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship came to an end in the match play semifinals as the Bobcats lost to the No. 1 seed Arkansas State 4-1 on Thursday at Annandale Golf Club.
Texas State, which was among the four teams to advance to the match play after 54-hole stroke play, earned its lone win with a 2&1 decision by at the top of the lineup against Ronnberg. However, the Red Wolves won at the No. 2-5 spots to secure the win.
The Red Wolves went on to win the team conference title with a 3-2 decision in the finals against ULM.
