SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State head football coach Everett Withers was pleased with the improvement the Bobcats demonstrated on both sides of the football in their second fall scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Stadium.
"I thought we had a good day today," head coach Everett Withers said. "I thought the offense did some good things. The quarterbacks and receivers made some plays, the running backs had some moments and I thought we got better up front. We also got better defensively in some areas with some people. But overall, this looked like a second scrimmage.
