Tigers 4, Rangers 2
- Dang it.
- For the second time in as many starts, Jon Gray did solid work on the mound, but got virtually no offensive support. Texas did score a pair today, which is better than they did Gray’s last time out, but still not good enough.
- It was a winnable game and, to be fair, the Rangers made some loud outs today, had balls not fall in that you’d expect to see fall in, while the Tigers rallied in the 8th in large part due to a couple of sub-70 mph exit velocity loopers off of Jacob Latz.
