USA Baseball has announced Team USA’s final roster for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and there are Rangers past and present who have made the club.
The Rangers connection that jumped out at me immediately was that Todd Frazier and Ryder Ryan both made the team. Frazier, of course, was with the Rangers in 2020, and was dealt to the New York Mets at the deadline for a player to be named later. That player to be named later ended up being relief pitcher Ryder Ryan, who has spent this season at AAA Round Rock.
