Lowest home attendance since before Rangers' first World Series trip highlights loss to Angels

ARLINGTON - The people spoke on Monday night. They are not warming up to the Rangers' product this season.

The Rangers had an announced attendance, which is tickets sold, of 16,718 for an 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels at Globe Life Park. It was the Rangers' lowest home attendance since July 8, 2010, when they announced 16,240.

That was the day before the Cliff Lee deal, which helped propel the Rangers to their first World Series appearance. The Rangers, at 4-8 and 5 ½ games behind Houston in the American League West, are more likely to subtract than add this season.
