How the Rangers plan to handle life without Rougned Odor for the next week

The Rangers are formulating a plan to keep second baseman Rougned Odor sharp while serving a seven-game suspension.

Because of off-days, Odor will not have played for nine days when he returns next Saturday. Manager Jeff Banister acknowledged that is a long time for a player to go without facing live pitching, but the club has few alternatives.
