Home runs, triple plays, and comebacks: Rangers use everything to earn wild win over Angels

Down by five runs before their first swing, the Rangers gradually came back on a string of relievers for an 8-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

The Rangers went ahead with a four-run eighth inning that included three walks, a hit batter and a wild pitch. The lead run scored on Rougned Odor's infield single.

The comeback included homers by Joey Gallo, Nomar Mazara and Jurickson Profar and the sixth triple play in club history.

Leading 6-3 in the fourth inning, the Angels loaded the bases against starter Ariel Jurado. Third baseman Jurickson Profar got the force at third after snagging a sharp grounder by David Fletcher, trapped Taylor Ward off the base and flipped to second baseman Rougned Odor for a force.
