ARLINGTON, Texas -- Yu Darvish says he feels stronger than he did before elbow surgery last spring and plans to be back on the mound for the Texas Rangers by mid-May or early June.
Darvish said Tuesday that he feels really good during his rehabilitation, and that his passion for the game has been reignited. He told a small group of Rangers beat writers that he feels like he could throw 95 mph right now if the team would let him.
The right-hander from Japan says his goal is to start throwing bullpen sessions in March.
