Another bullpen collapse leaves Rangers stumbling into series with red-hot Astros

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers bullpen fell apart Wednesday, as Matt Bush blew a save by allowing a solo homer in the ninth inning, and Sam Dyson followed by giving up two homers in the 10th, in a 7-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

What had the potential to be a scrappy win for Texas turned into a huge downer as the team prepares to welcome Houston Friday for a three-game series.

The Astros have the best record in the league at 38-16, have won seven straight, and are 12 games up on the Rangers in the standings.
