Elvis Andrus won't find out if he is on the AL All-Star team before Sunday. He may not find out, however, if he is actually available until a little thereafter.
Andrus' wife, Cori, is due with the couples' first child, a son, on July 12, which would, obviously, knock him out of the All-Star game. But, it turns out, Tiny Elvis isn't actually so tiny. And doctors' expressed confidence Wednesday that the baby would likely arrive about a week early. If so, that would allow Andrus to go to Miami for is third All-Star trip, but the first since 2012.
